Built as a Barnes & Noble bookstore, the building has recently been leased to Anthropologie.

Walnut Creek serves as the business and cultural center of the East Bay region of San Francisco’s Bay Area. The Olympic/Main building has been a well-received addition to Walnut Creek’s thriving downtown pedestrian retail district.

The property was acquired in 1993 in a private transaction, and development was completed in 1996 under a joint venture between Patson Development Company and London Merchant Securities. The property was sold in 2006.
