1440 Chapin avenue
This development originated with a build to suit requirement for a new head office for H.A. Enan & Co., and for new Peninsula offices for Prudential Bache Securities.
1440 Chapin was a vacant parcel of land purchased from the Roepke family in 1985 on an off market basis. The building was purchased on completion by South Holdings of Hong Kong under a formula with provided our development partnership with additional profit on an earn-out basis. This deal initiated our long friendship and partnership with South Holdings which continues to this day with asset management responsibilities on 1440 Chapin and through other ventures.
This 45,000 sq.ft. office building occupies a prime location in Burlingame, an affluent suburb of San Francisco located near the San Francisco Airport. It was developed by Patson under a joint venture with Kyle Stewart Ltd and Felix Fenston Trust.
